I bought these gloves looking for protection for the thin skin on my arms when I work in my roses. These gloves do the job. The cuffs are long enough and the fabric is stiff so my arms are covered and are not scratched and bleeding from the thorns on the stems of the roses. The hands of the gloves are thick yet pliable to allow for protection and excellent manipulation of my hands. When they get damp, I hang them and they dry quickly. I definitely recommend these gloves to anyone who is looking for hand and arm protection while light gardening.
